In this episode, we talk to Jit Da about a different aspect of cycling: CYCLING TOURISM. It's a niche space to be in, and Jit Da is one of the pioneers in this space as a service provider for cycling tours in the North East of India.
Biswajit, or Jit Da as he is popularly known, shares his viewpoints, the challenges he has faced and the evolution of the Brahmaputra Cycling Expedition, or as he fondly calls it, BCE.
Originally from Assam, work brought him to Maharashtra. He found work and friends in Pune, eventually met his future wife, got married, and is now almost half a Puneri with a cute little daughter!
He himself has cycled the entire parikrama of the mighty Brahmaputra, and now wants to offer similar experiences to cyclists not only from India but from all over the world.
A wonderful storyteller, extremely knowledgeable about current affairs, an able cyclist and an avid trekker himself, he is the ultimate package to have with you on a tour.
